I’m writing this as I sit in the Frankfurt airport waiting for a flight to Helsinki. My flight was delayed – yet again. Air travel used to be so glamorous, what’s happened to our world? But enough about the rantings of an old spook, there has been another Searcher sighting, this time in Istanbul.
In the two days immediately after the “Helsinki Incident” there was increased Searcher activity all around the globe. From my earlier cables you have already seen images of Searchers in Helsinki, San Francisco, Mumbai, Brooklyn, Patagonia, and now the latest sighting in Istanbul. Their brazen broad daylight appearance was very unusual. Their modus operandi is to appear after dark and preferably in the early morning hours.
The Media has also been eerily silent about the Helsinki Incident. This points to larger forces at play. Could the mysterious K be involved? For years I’ve been trying to gather evidence that links K to the activities of the Searchers, but so far K has been too adept at hiding his tracks. Does he even exist? His name keeps appearing, but no one has seen the man for years. The last known picture was taken in Prague in 1997. That’s almost 20 years ago.
The Black Lines are filled with chatter about a target only specified as the U.S.C (not to be confused by the American university with the same acronym). I have tried to determine who or what the USC is without success, but the USC is BIG, that’s for sure. The sheer number of Searchers actions across the planet speak to the USC’s importance. By examining the activities of Searchers I was hoping to find a pattern, but so far I’ve come up empty.
But I hear the flight attendant announcing that our flight is finally ready for boarding. It’s time for me to quit my musings and get back to snowy Finland. Until next time, this is Olli signing out.
